Automatic Trigger print of Quality certifcate

Dear Experts,

Kindly suggest the ways to print the COA automatically from the system when customer does not perform the inspection at the time of delivery, they produce the material with inspection type 04 perform the result recording and sends the COA once the product is delivered. Kindly clarify even the inspection is not performed at the time of delivery , can system trigger the automatic print of COA at the time of delvery based up on the lots or batch for which the results are recorded with inspection type 04.

Please also suggest any other ways to trigger the automatic printing of COA in the above scenario .

even buisness wants to take the COA without performing the UD for the lots.based up on result recorded for the MICs.

The process is no different than printing the COA when doing inspection at delivery.

The key is how the cert profile is set up and where the results get pulled from. Of course you can pull the results from the 04 inspection lot. But the UID must be done first. Why woud you ship the material if it hasn't completed inspection? If you have tests that take a long time ot perform then set those up as long-term characteristics.

You can report the value from the batch record as well which is what I prefer to try and do. Reporting batch results can be more reliable then using the inspection lot results. This is especially true if you ship the material from warehouses where the 04 lot doesn't exist.
