Create context in ACC

Hi Experts,

When I want to create my first context in ACC I can't create it without having a parent context.

But no parent contexts exist in my Sandbox and so far I haven't been able to create a new parent context.

I have ran the program Create Root Access Control Context (/PLMB/R_AUTH_ADD_ROOT_CONTEXT) in the PLM system but it seems like it has not been generated.

Do you have any ideas on why the root context is not generated? Am I missing any step?

hi Mikeal,

You have to run the program from the customizing

Logistics u2013 General Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) PLM Web User Interface PLM Web Applications PLM Authorizations and Access Control Context Create a Root Access Control Context )

You may need to mention the name of the root context like PLM_ROOT etc.,

if its not still refreshing go to Tcode SM37->select the check boxes ->job->repeat scheduling->Immediate->and save

You may have to do this after you create each ACC if you had not opted for a quick indexing.

This might fix the issue.
