Change the vendor

Hi experts,

Is it possible to change the vendor of a development component that belongs to some track?

Since the vendor is registered on software component that is in SLD and on development component at NWDS, I think that I should create another software component with the new vendor and another track to this new sc. But what about the development component's vendor?

Hi Gabriela,

You can change the vendor in while creating development component in NWDS. For that you need to create namespace in the SLD(System Landscape Directory) for Development Component.

I was wondering if there is some way to change the vendor's name after the DC creation.

But I think there is no way to do it.
