Sounds like your question maybe more complicated then my answer, but you ight want to try this. It may help lead you in the right direction.
You can use SAP Transaction IQ09 to see all the equipments that are associated to a sales order if they are not delivered.
The screen field in the screen variant is: KDAUF-LOW (Programm: RIEQUI21, screen: 1000). Or you can also find the data directly by looking up table: EQBS - KDAUF.
