Dear All,

I know this is very common error, but I have gone through many threads & applied every possible solution suggested. But no use.

My E-Portal was working very fine till day before yesterady. But because of server shifting activity at client place server shutdown was taken. I am facing follwing problems:

1.The link [http://192.168.10.133:56100/sld] to access SLD is not accessible.

2.SLD CIMClient test is failed. When I do data transfer to SLD it throws an error:Failed to collect SLD Data. Unable to open connection to host <host name>:<port>.The host is down or unavailable.

3.Logged into portal with j2ee admin , CA --> web dynpro ,

Create Jco Destination , Maintain JCo destinatations , start assigned SLD are in the disabled mode.

Check SLD Connection is in enable mode. When clicked on test connection ,

it is giving the following message :

connection to system landscape Directory (SLD) could not be openend successfully.

I have checked SLDDSUSER. It is not in locked mode & password is also not expired.

Please help!!!

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Swapnali

Hi Swapnali,

Please try SLDCHECK transaction and test the connection.

It should give you the exact error for SLD server.

Hi Supriya,

Thanks for your immediate reply.

I checked the transaction, it is giving me 'Connetcion to SLD doesn't work:check SLD Function & Configuration'. I have done all the configuration properly. Also these logs are under XI - LCR Test connection. So I doubt, whether this is relevant for E-portal-SLD Connection.

Till Day before yesterday It was working fine. But after R/3 dev, solman server shutdown-restart activity, it satrted giving the mentioned error.

Hi Supriya,

Solved by myself. SLD Server restart has been taken with *ALL Instance. It is working fine now.
