Hi All,
I´ve created customer attributes for object type PNOD (Project and Solution Node). The assignment of attributes on business process level in SAOLARxx and also the selection in solar_eval works fine. But these customer attributes aren´t offered in solar_eval lists as individual column. Is there a chance to have them in the list (tabular, hierarchical) also?
Thanks for any answer.
Jürgen
Hi everybody
This is HILARIOUS Jason... Its a friend that told me about this post and actually i had never seen it before my friend called me !!! lol
Well i did nt know the answer first and then I told my self i can not 'NOT PRESERVE' my reputation on SDN so i did some searching and debug in order to find some sort of response... WELL GET READY.... CAUSE I HAVE ONE.
1st - There is no (from what i know) badi that can be used to enhance selection screen for solar_eval or the ALV list that is displayed... except for an enhancement called BADI_SP_DATA_SEPARATION that allows hiding fields and that not what we want !!
2nd - You can do a selection on customer attributes only for some of the reports given in SOLAR_EVAL
All those reports have a button called 'Extended Attribute Selection'. When clicking on it you ll see a new screen with a tab that will allow filtring on your Customer Attributes...
All assignment reports (meaning under node Analysis->Project->Business Blueprint->Assignments or under node Analysis->Project->Configuration->Assignments) allow selection on customer attributes except for document & links !!
Hope this help you both !
PS: Jason, You made laugh a lot at the office today !!

Khalil

Hi Khalil,
thanks for the answer. I already knew this possibility to select for customer attributes in solar_eval. But what I would need is to show them in lists also. It´s a pity there is no chance to enhance the ALV list by customer-defined attributes. Seems that we have to live with this situation
Best regards
Juergen

Hi Jurgen,
sorry i misunderstood your problem. Well not easy thing to do.
I found how to add a column in the hierarchical view as in the classic alv layout using button 'Change Layout' BUT
- for hierarchical view, the column was added but no value was set in cell (when it was supposed to be filled)
- for classic ALV view, it dumps right after i validate the add od the column (that i could see in the hiddent columns)
Another thing: I could find the customer attribute only for reporting on Business Blueprint - Transactions and i dont know why...
Another thing... there is a ver recent SAP Note that could help I guess because it talks about your matter:
Note 1480707 - SOLAR_EVAL: the values of attributes are not filled
Below is an extract: YOU LL NOTICE that they say : Customer and SAP attributes !!
Summary
Symptom
In transaction SOLAR_EVAL, the values of the customer and SAP attributes are not filled in the result list,
Other terms
Solution Manager, Reporting,
Reason and Prerequisites
Program error
Solution
To solve the problem:
-> Either, Install the corresponding support package,
-> Or, Apply the attached correction instruction of the note.

Hope this helps,

Hi Khalil,
thanks for your answer. I implemented the note but nothing changed. Whereas keywords assigned on object level are shown in solar_eval lists, attributes assigned on node level aren´t shown at all; they can only be selected on selection screen.
Seems that I have to live with this. Hopefully rel. 7.1 will improve situation.

Jürgen
