Dispacther down & returns --- Connect to database failed, rc = -10709

Hello,

When i am trying to start sap system which is on MaxDB.

Dispatcher is not coming up..

Following are the error lines.

C *** ERROR => Connect to database failed, rc = -10709 (Connection failed (RTE:Database name is missing))

B ***LOG BV3=> severe db error -10709 ; work process is stopped [dbsh#3 @ 1203] [dbsh 1203 ]

B ***LOG BY2=> sql error -10709 performing CON [dblink#8 @ 433] [dblink 0433 ]

B ***LOG BY0=> Connection failed (RTE:Database name is missing) [dblink#8 @ 433] [dblink 0433 ]

M ***LOG R19=> ThInit, db_connect ( DB-Connect 000256) [thxxhead.c 1502]

M in_ThErrHandle: 1

M *** ERROR => ThInit: db_connect (step 1, th_errno 13, action 3, level 1) [thxxhead.c 10631]

version - MaxDB 7.6-

Please advice on the following if this is a known issue by MaxDb experts.

Is R3trans -d still working? And do you still have the xuser file in the home directory of the adm user?

xuser list
