Error BR0454E while proeccesing brrestore

Hello,

the backup from the prod system was made with dataprotector.

I want to make a restore now from last wednesday, the log file of this backup is "becztudi.anf"

D:\>brrestore -b becztudi.anf

Searching on google for BR0454E error is not bringing a solution yet.

Dear Martin,

As per the standard backup and restore logic. the restore has to be done with the same tool with which the bacup has been taken.

so configure HPDP in the server where you want to restore and try restoring it from HPDP. I hope we have an option of restoring the backup through HPDP GUI. Ask your backup team for the same.

in your case, you will need to restore with BRRESTORE... but also have HPDP installed and configured for usage with BR*Tools. exactly like you probably did on your source server.
