how to open attachment in R3?

HI guys,

I am selecting the attachment file by using webdyn pro and storing that attachment file in customized table as XSTRING format. And then I want to open or display that attachment from R3(from the customized table). So tell me wt are all the ways to do so?

Note : Attachment can be any type i.e doc, pdf, jpg and bmp.

Hi Safiq,

First define workstation applications,this will resolve your file type query. Seocnd one you have to define the storage category for the attachments. Once this is defiend you canf fetch the files from content server(storage location).
