Hi Friends,
In one of costing sheet , say overhead rate OH1 is assigned to base BS1, now to overhead rate OH1 from period 01/01/2009 to 31/12/2010 controlling area say 1000 and overhead rate type 1(actual) percentage 10% is assigned. Now for same combination( from 01/01/2009 to 31/12/2010, same cont. area 1000 and OH type 1) I want to change % OH to 12%.
So my question is a)can I maintain it in same row ( by changing % from 10 to 11 %) ?or
b)Can I delete first row and add new row with same period, cont area, OH type and rate to 12%?
c)If I am not deletiing first row and adding second row with same data but 11%?but in this case period overlap will happen.
I think I should go with option b) .
And suppose if I am changing the % OH rate from 10 to 11 then I should run program RK*.. to transfer the OH rate as rate does not got from one client to another with TR.?
Need your suggestion and advice.
Regards
Ashu
Yes you have to go with the option B because for the option C system will give an error message saying that periods are overlapping.
Option A can be checked if system allows to change the % in the same row.
Yes you have to run the report RK* bcauz the percenatge are not transportable objects.

Hi Abraham,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
But I can see for one OH rate say OH1 the rate is maintained as:
Row 1-from 01/01/2000 to 12/31/2009-Cont area 0001---OH type 1 --OH rate 12 %
Row 2- from 01/01/2009 to 12/31/2010-Cont area 0001---OH type 1 --OH rate 14%
Why system allowed to maintain and did not throw error message of period overlapping as 01/01/2009 is already covered in row 1.
Thanks again!
Any pointers
Regards
Ashu
