The Concept of Process Chain which is there in MDM, Is it the same as BIW. I saw the screens in both and from the screen it seems the same.

an MDM system consists of pieces several software components, one of it is BW. The process chain concept of MDM is inherited from BW. Process Chains in MDM are e.g. used for Initial loads or Distribution of Data.
