Hi

As you are installing on your laptop (standalone machine) please ensure/check these below steps:

1. Have you installed MS Server 2000 and above?

2. Have you Installed MS SQL Server 2000 or 7.0 or higher?

3. Has SQL Server is activated in your laptop?

4. Has MDM Server Installed and Activated? YOu can use "Services.msc" to activate these..

Also you need to supply a password with full read/write permissions on the DBMS.

and for MS SQL Server the security settings need to be changed from the default windows security to SQL & Windows...

Hi Prabhu,

It depends on the version of MDM installed but whenever i have tried with XP it even didn't worked for me even, so better switch & try with MS Server 2003 or 2007 or best suitable for version...

Best Regards
