Hi dinesh,

If you are having PI 7.1 , then please have a look at this blog for IDOC monitoring feature.

Hi,

For IDOC monitoring you can use SXMB_MONI on ABAP stack as IDOC adaptor is on ABAP stack.

If you find idoc is successful in SXMB_MONI but still not reached, then please check in SM58.

Also you can monitor idoc by using IDX5.

Hi Dinesh,

You can monitor the IDOC adapter in IDX5 transaction from PI side,In PI 7.1 there is a new feature where

you can track the IDOC from PI itself from IDX5 transation.Basically it shows the status of IDOC posted.

IDX5->Select the idoc->shift+F8( Remote IDOC monitor)

IDOC Tracking for outbound IDOC->shift+F4

There will be a arrow mark on the top right , if you click on that you can see these options there.

Now no need for WE02 also we can do it from IDX5 itself.

Note that the IDoc adapter resides on the ABAP stack so RWB cannot be used to monitor as it is based or java stack

You can use SM58 (tRFC) in the XI system and SM58 to check the errors, We02 in the R/3 system also helps in idoc monitoring.

Hi Dinesh,

IDOC adapter resides on ABAP stack, and hence it is not visible in Runtime workbench.

Hi,

>>>r list File adapter is available...but idoc adapter not found thr..what may the issue...

as IDOC adapter is not based on java and in CC moniotoring you only see java based adapters

you can check IDOC adapter in SM59
