Validation for NWA confirmation

Hi,

I am looking for validation or user exit at network activity confirmation level. That should check whether price is maintained for activity type if not then it sould restrict users to confirm network activity or even raise an error. Please suggest ?

As standard, you would not be able to make confirmation against a network activity unless you have activity type pricing maintained for the work center. Isn't true?

No. System would give only warning message that "Actual cost is not calculated check check log" and that though while saving the project not at confirmation screen.

When you post the confirmation and run the transfer transaction you should get error that cost could not be calculated.

You will not see the posting of the confirmation on the network activity.

After setting the rates, you can then process the actual cost errors.

In OPST, you can do the configuration for logs/error handling. Whenever there is an error in calculation of cost error log will be generated.

The further setting of "Termination for Incorrect Act cost' will terminate the confirmation itself.

Sarang, These setting are already done but I can still save confirmation without actual cost.
