Is there a way to default a specific field in the sales data of the customer master as per sales area?

Hi,

There are two options i know one is SHD0 Creating the Transaction variant . Another one is Using the user-exit MV45AFZZ or MV45AFZB.

Hi,

Best method is to create a transaction variant for XD01 using SHD0 Tx.

Then assign a Z transaction (ZXD01) for that variant in SE93. Let user to call that tx: instead of XD01.

All default values, mandatory fields, etc can be done there.

Hi,

Put the cursor on the field and get the Parameter ID. Go to user maintenance (SU01), to tab Parameters, enter your Parameter ID and code that you want to default.

Yes, you can create a transaction variant ( T Code SHD0) for customer creation XD01 or VD01 , for the particular screen / Field Value, you can provide the default field value.

so during customer creation using XD01 or VD01, the default value will be flowing in the relevant field.
