Initialization of Planning Area: Value of field TimeSeries "X" v/s "V"

All,

This is more of a doubt rather than an issue that we are facing. I have not been able to figure this out and its implications.

When we check the initialized time series for a Planning Area we see a field called "TimeSeries". This field (from what I have observed) has the value X or V. What is the difeerence between the two? What are the implications?

What I have experienced is that ideally it should be "X". Don't ask me why as I don't have an explaination, its just I have observed some jobs failing when its V.

Explaination?

Cheers!

Abhi

Hi Abhishek,

Corret name of the field is u201CUpdate Time seriesu201D. There is one more field which is not shown and it is u201CUpdate Master Datau201D.

1. Planning Area

2. Planning Version

3. Planning Version Text

4. Model Name

5. Storage Buckets Profile

6. Start date of DP/SNP timestreams

7. End Date of DP/SNP Time Streams

8. Created on

9. Time of Creation

10. Author

11. Changed on

12. Last changed by

13. Time of Change

14. Update master data

15. Update Time Series

When we execute program u201C/SAPAPO/TS_PAREA_INITIALIZEu2019 The Input screen we get has two fields:

1. u201CDo Not Auto. Adjust periodu201D

2. u201CUpdate Master Datau201D ( this is only releveant to SNP PA).

I have observed "Blank" value also for the same.

X means probably "Do not update".

I hope this clarifies to some extent.
