Enter multiple conditon records in VK11

Hello,

we want to enter several condition records for a material/customer combination in VK11.

materialnumber valid from 01/01/2010 valid to 31/12/2010

materialnumber valid from 01/01/2011 valid to 31/12/2011

Whenever I enter both conditions into one screens, we get the message:

"The condition is being processed in the current session."

We can only enter one entry at a time.

Is there a way to enter multiple entries at the same time?

Hi,

This is how standard SAP works, It happens due to "Valid On Date" which you can only see in the VK12 transaction.

Same will happen if you try to add a different validity period in VK12 transaction. You can try below and see.

- Go to VK12.

- Enter condition type

- Press Enter

- Note the Valid On date appear in the next screen. If you have maintain multiple validity periods for a material and you want to see a price specific for a period, you have to enter a date within that period and execute. Otherwise you'll not be able to get exact record relevant to that period.

Coming back to your issue.

Condition record creation happens line by line (Though you see both validity periods in one screen as 2 lines)

As soon as first line created, second line goes with that "Valid On" date.

That's why you get that error message.

Even in VK12, if you want to maintain it to a different period, first you have to enter "Valid On" date as a date in that period and then create it.

Therefore you have to do it after saving the first validity period only. So you have to first create the condition for first validity period (01/01/2010 valid to 31/12/2010)

save it.

Then create condition record for next validity period (01/01/2011 valid to 31/12/2011) - You don't have to go out from the screen for this.

Save it.

Hi,

Try to create two records at the same time by giving a gap of just one day between these records. I think it will allow now .Once it is saved, you can go again and change it.
