Printing Issues

Hello there,

I've seen a few posts on this type of subject already but not really any definitive answers.

ABAP programmer, trying to print a Smartform during some testing.

first attempt - 64 copies printed off

second attempt - 11 copies

third attempt - 15 copies.

SP01 shows 1 page, 1 copy.

This is only happening from SAP, other applications do not see this problem, and it happens on more than one printer.

Anyone any ideas?

Hi,

I would look at your 'device type' you are using, is it correct ?

A suggestion:

Try changing the device type to "SAPWIN" with access method 'G' and set host printer to '_default' for front-end printing. Make sure the correct driver for the printer is then installed on the client, does it now print the correct number of copies ? This should eliminate the incorrect device type chosen and you can then change it if all works fine with the front-end printing test.
