RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to message server host failed

Hi all,

We configured our JCO connection on EP 7 for ESS/MSS and these are working fine from last couple of years. But Today I am getting the following error while trying to call a WebDynpro application.

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to message server host failed Connect_PM TYPE=B MSHOST=uk-sap-001 *****

Our NWDS version is 7.0.10

Please suggest me the solution to fix this issue.

I had the same problem.

Workaround which used for me.

To use the servername and not the IP Adress in the SAP Logon information.
