Hello Experts,

For reference data extraction from ECC does SAP provide a facility for delta extraction?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Suraj,

the basic requirement for a delta extraction is that someone stores all changes that happened since the last extraction. This feature is usually implemented for master data only in SAP systems, but not for reference/customizing data. I do not think that you'll find a standard out-of-the-box support for this requirement.

Nevertheless one option to consider is that you are always able to re-run MDMGX and extract the current set of reference data. The predefined import maps won't change existing records, but add new ones only.

Best regards

Michael

Thanks Michael,

I just forgot that in import manager we have all those matching & importing options wherein we can filter the new records.

Thanks,

Hi Suraj,

See, Reference data is the data which need to be loaded in MDM before importing Main Table data. This reference data usually one time import process from ECC to MDM. You can load all your reference data from ECC to MDM by configuring MDMGX. Delta extraction is a term which basically use for Main table data import from ECC to MDM.
