Hi Friends,
I am unable to open Enterprise Service Repository and Integration Directory. Getting the following error.
-
An error occurred while launching/running the application.
Title: Enterprise Services Repository
Vendor: SAP AG
Category: Download Error
Bad MIME type returned from server when accessing resource: http://<host>:<port>/rep/repository
/com.sap.xpi.ibrep.client.jar - null
-
I am using J2RE 5.1.015 and JDK 1.5, (PI 7.1)
Maintained host name entry in etc/drivers/hosts.
Cleared the temporary files from javaws.
What could be the problem ? Kindly reply. (Previously it was working)
Kind regards,
Jegathees P.

Hi
Whatever is answered by Manisha is correct. I did the same. (But, I struggled to find this very latter after closing the thread)

Only first time I am able to login after clearing temporary files in Java Control Panel. Every time I am login using this way. If we login 2nd time, we are getting the error "JAR resources in JNLP file are not signed by same certificate". Closing this thread open a new thread.

Hi,
Please first delete all files from javaw.
Now gotot Administrator > Java web start administrator > re-initialization .
and try login again..if still it is not working then please do above first step and choose sencond option re-initialization and force-singing.
I hope this will solve youe problem.

Manisha
Hi Manisha,
I installed J2RE1.6. Now my IR and ID is opening. But, in the 2nd time login, it shows the error 'Unable to Launch the application'.
Again I cleared temporary files and login again. Any idea why this error comes for 2nd time ?
(From the error message, we solved that by installing higher version)
Hi Srinivas,
The blog is good. We have java 1.6.0. It needs to run from the command mode. I am checking how to do the checks in this
