Hi All,
Our J2EE crashes during weekends where there are very little transactions compared to weekdays.
Checking Visual Admin, fatal error occurs with message:
"Catching com.sap.engine.frame.core.locking.TechnicalLockException: Cannot Lock"
before this log entry, there are non-fatal "Cannot Lock" errors.
I would just like to know if increasing MaxThreadCount and Heap size will address this?
or do I have to increase the size of some table?
Thanks,
Miguel
Hi Kenny,
For now, our senior PI/XI opted to increase threadcounts at the adapter level
since he says he has done this in the past.
I'll keep this SAP Note in mind though. Thanks again.

Hi Miguel,
the CSS note -
[#834589 Locking problems in J2EE/Java servers|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/834589]
should help.
Regards
Kenny
