Hi EveryOne,

I noticed that in st03 report is showing two days old.

All background required jobs are running.

in Tx STZAC :

System Time Zone CET

User's Default Time Zone CET

by running report TZCUSTHELP i found that:

System time zone or UTC timer is incorrect

Time Setting in Operating System

System Date.....................: 19.04.2010

System Time.....................: 12:06:30

System Time Zone Offset to UTC..: 19800

System Currently in DST.........: NO

Current UTC Date................: 19.04.2010

Current UTC Time................: 06:36:30

Current User Date...............: 19.04.2010

Current User Time...............: 12:06:30

Current User Time Zone..........: INDIA

System Time Zone................: CET

Current System Date.............: 19.04.2010

Current System Time.............: 08:36:30

System time zone or UTC timer is incorrect

Current User Date (Entered).....: 19.04.2010

Current User Time (Entered).....: 12:06:28

Current User Time Zone (Entered): CET

Current User Time (Conversion)..: 19.04.2010

Current User Date (Conversion)..: 08:36:30

How i can correct this, what action should i take. plz suggest me

Hello,

Have you changed the time zone settings recently?

If so, be aware that changes in time zone settings always requires a

system restart. The R/3 system time zone is only used in very rare

cases. Nevertheless I would strongly recommend not to start any jobs or

time critical processes during this time period.

Hi David,

As i recently joined with this client support i dont know what changes made before.

As i noticed that

The system Time Zone is : CET

Default Time Zone is: CET

Logon User's Time Zone is: INDIA

Is this a problem ?

Hi David Liu,

I have the same problem with Shashi K. 

based on the system I have.

System time                                   00:53:39

Time zone    PST     07.03.2013  23:53:39

the time zone  is late for 1hr. it this ok?

Run the report RSDBTIME in se38 and post the result.

As it should show

Universal Time Coordinated UTC....: 1362732128

Date and time of database.........: 08.03.2013 09:42:08

Date and Time of R/3-Kernel.......: 08.03.2013 09:42:08

Date and Time of ABAP-Processor...: 08.03.2013 09:42:08
ABAP Timezone Setup ..............: 3.600

Date and Time / localtime ........: 08.03.2013 09:42:08

No Time Inconsistencies detected !

Checking GET RUN TIME from 09:42:09 to 09:42:14 during 00:00:05
GET RUN TIME result ..............:  5.000.096  us

GET RUN TIME time measurement accuracy ok !

heres the result. is there an issue if your system timezone in SAP ABAP set to PST and your server was set to MST?

Hi,

Please check SAP Note No. 926290 .Are you getting any dump due to this or  in sm21 is there any log due to time zone issue.

will check on that. by the way I dont have any dumps for this but when check the firefighter logs in /n/virsa/vfat. I'm receiving this "BACKGROUND JOB WAS NOT SCHEDULED/LOG & FILE NOT YET GENERATED"

Hi,

Execute RSDBTIME, this is a report and try to execute ot using se38. And let us know the output.

Let us know if your OS time is correct or not.

[Note 1165982 - Changes to time zone settings at operating system level|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1165982]

Or carry the SAP Note search using "System time zone or UTC timer is incorrect"
