Smartform Window Overlapping

Hi all,

I have a issue while issuing print preview for invoice.

When I issue print preview for the invoice the Main window data and the footer data are getting overlapped.

This issue is coming only in upgraded system (ECC 6). The same is working fine in 4.7 system.

I compared smartforms in both ECC 6 and 4.7 system. There are no differences in the smartforms.

I want to know if there are any OSS notes for solving this problem or any work arround to solve the issue ?

It's hard to comment without seeing the output in both the systems. One more possibility could be that the fonts are maintained

differently in both the systems. Please check the smartstyles and fonts in the print preview in both the systems.

Have you checked the layout and page format of the form? May be those got changed due to some problem during upgrade.

Hello,

Perhaps this is simply a problem with the Sapscript buffers. You can

run the report RSTXDELL on the system to clear the Sapscript buffers.

It is a good idea to do the refresh procedures after any updates

concerning font metrics, device types etc...

To do this you can use RSTXDELL report with default settings except it

is better to have * instead of the current client number in the Client

field.

After this can you please create some new spools and the problem should

be resolved. It will not work to reprint an old spool as the contained

data is already incorrect.

Hi Devid,

I have executed the report RSTXDELL. But still getting the overlap in the print preview.

Checked the OSS note also. but didnot help.

Note: I am using Smartforms not SAP Script.

even though it mentions Asian characters.

This note is laready installed in the system. Still getting the overlapp.

Checked all page formats, nodes. Everything is same nothing has changed.
