Help regarding PDF layout change

Hi All,

We have a PDF form getting generated on the click of a link in the WD application.

Now i need to make few changes in the layout of the pdf.

We are not using an interactive form UI in the view, but some .xdp file has been created and kept in the mimes folder.

I can find the .xdp file in the mimes folder of the application and i understand that i have to make changes in that .xdp file using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

But my doubt is, how will the new context attributes that i create will get reflected and how should i deploy the .xdp file after making the changes?

Is pasting the new xdp file back to the mimes folder and then deploying the application enough??

Please help me out with any helpful steps as i am working on this for teh very first time and dont have much idea about this.
