Workflow Notification

Hi all,

I have a problem regarding workflow in Data Manager.Within the steps of the workflow I want to notify the owner through email by using Notify step.However, I do not find where to specify the email ID of the owner.

It would be really very helpful if somebody could throw some light on it

Thanks for the immediate response. However, I want to know if there are any further settings that are required for successfully sending the email through notify step in workflow.

Kindly make sure the file "mds.ini" available in the following path "
Program Files\SAP MDM 5.5\Server\"

got an entry for "Mail Server=" and value for the same.

This will work and solves your task.

Hi Sheetal

The mail-id can be specified at the MDM Console level, launch the MDM Console>MDM Server>MDM Repository>Admin>Users --> Point to the corresponding user and you will find the mail-id row in the detail pane.

while making changes Repository should be unloaded.
