Billing Plan update in a service contract

Hi ,

We have a service contract process where in the users changes the Contract validity dates at the line item level in the Over-view screen.

Now if we go to the Billing Plan screen everything gets updated properly.

But if the user saves the Contract with out going to Billing plan screen the Billing plan will not be reflected with the changed contract dates.

Any one knows how we can ensure that the Billing plan dates(FPLA and FPLT ) will be updated even though if we don't visit the billing plan screen.

Used the standard FM to ensure that the VEDA data is upto date.

Hi Can you let know the FM that updates the billing plan dates for the contract automatically?

We have contracts with billing plan validity 1year. and billing is quaterly billing.

The contract is created in june 2006 and it is billed till 2007 , the billing plan numbers are not generated for the yer 2008 to upto date..How to update the billing plan items for the contracts?

Hi AJ,

Did you try adding a new line item for the extension period of the contract. Also, I would reccomend to check the rules you are using for billing plan date determinations. Let me know if this works.
