Hi Sreeni

This is error comes due to if CBS Server compartment is being initialised, this process may takes some time to finish. Till then all your other requests are on hold. Please check after some time if you still have the same problem. Also check if request processing is turned on for your buildspace.

Please refer to below documnts/threads for similar issue...try to check and act accordingly

Hi Sreeni,

Once you placed the SCA file in the CMS inbox directory, it will automatically come when you create the track with Required SCA file for ESS under ESS software component.

There is nothing to do with configure Check-in option under check-in tab.

Please check properly in "NWDI Cookbook for XSS.pdf" attached with SAP notes 872892 if you have SMP id. Also refer to

Hope it helps

Arun,

Thank you very much for your response, i got thr this link in past also and this link helped me much

ESS/MSS Customization u2013 Make it Simple

i see some diff with my NWDI and screen shots in that Blog

main diff is at point no:4

i dont see any .sca file in my NWDI and same time i dont see check-in tab enabled

Do we need to config the Check-in thr Config Check-in?

if yes how do we config?

Any other permissions which i need to add to get enabled the Check-in tab and to get the .sca

Apart from these i dont see any other diff

Thanks,

Sreeni.

Hi Sreeni,

Please check it below :-

>I see some diff with my NWDI and screen shots in that Blog

I don't think there is any difference in the blog. there will be only diff. is for version for ESS component fetching from SLD.

>Main diff is at point no:4

>I dont see any .sca file in my NWDI and same time i dont see check-in tab enabled

You need to keep SCA files named SAP_BUILDT,SAP_JTECHS,SAP_JEE and ESS SCA in the inbox folder of the CMS in server directory manually. then you can see the that fsca files in check-in tab. Check-in tab should be enabled, check you access and SLD connection for NWDI

>Do we need to config the Check-in thr Config Check-in?

> if yes how do we config? - N/A

I don't think there is need to configure check-in tab..check 2 point above. IF you have proper access to NWDI administation and SLD is running fine and required soem SCA files place in the CMS >> Inbox directory in the server directory.

> Any other permissions which i need to add to get enabled the Check-in tab and to get the .sca

Yes, Check the permission for your user id for NWDI administion

Please try above,Hope it will helps you.

Arun,

I am able to create the inActive DC and then depending on DC i can able to open the corresponding perspective.

But my Q is if i want to change the Existing DC of ESS, and is ESS dc are Webdynpro DCs

(for example login page customization, how we do the same way i want to do it, i know that it is not required to follow

the NWDI )

I hope you understand my problem !

Thanks,

Sreeni.
