Activation of BI authorization content, even though we stick to old concept

Dear All,

We are now upgraded to BW3.5 to BI7. However it has been decided to stick to old authorization concept instead of using new analysis authorization concept.

I changed to remain old authorization concept in SPRO. As I am using the old concept do I still need to activate following values in RSA1?

InfoObjects: 0TCA*

InfoCubes: 0TCA*

Please advice.

Jay,

I dont think you do. If you are still using the BW3.5 authorization concepts you will be maintaining the authorization relevant InfoObjects, Characteritics, etc expect for "0TCTAUTHH" for hiearchies.

The ones relevant for BI7.0 Analysis Authorization concept are:

0TCAACTVT Activity in Analysis Authorizations

0TCAIPROV Authorizations for InfoProvider

0TCAVALID Validity of an Authorization

0TCAKYFNM Key Figure in Analysis Authorizations
