hi all,
in our production system , some times i am getting THE ABAP DUMP
"Runtime Errors DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR
Exception CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB"Short text
SQL error in the database when accessing a table.
How to correct the error
Database error text........: "ORA-03106: fatal two-task communication protocol error"
Internal call code.........: "[RSQL/FTCH/PAKDATBUF ]"
Please check the entries in the system log (Transaction SM21).
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR" "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB"
"SAPLPA_PACKAGE_SERVICES" or "LPA_PACKAGE_SERVICESF02"
"READ_FROM_DATABASE"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error

If I where you, I would upgrade Oracle to 10.2.0.4 You are running on quite an old version.

Check the following link: http://service.sap.com/instguides -> database upgrades -> Oracle for upgrade guides.
However, you are not performing an upgrade, but just you are just applying a patch set. The software package contains a readme.html, which describes the process.
Check sapnet for notes regarding the applying of the patch set, and apply the interim patches afterwards.
Also don't forget to check note 830576 for the parameter recommendations.
Kind regards,

Hi Babu,
http://service.sap.com/swdc > Database Patches> Oracle --> Version

Hi,
You should not be running your Prod system let alone any other system with the Base 10.2 software.
You are going to leave yourself wide open to errors like this and others.
As previously said go to 10.2.0.4 and apply any intermediate patches with Opatch.
