SAP Field Mapping to I-Doc INVOIC

Hi,

I am looking for a documentation of mapping for I-Doc INOVICE02. Would like to know which SAP Standard fields (VBAP, VBAK) are going to be mapped in which I-Doc Segment, field for INOIVCE (Outbound).

Does anybody know where I can find this?

Try transaction WE60 or WE30 to look at the structure of INVOIC02.

In WE60 enter the doc type in 'Basic Type' field, select the 'Data Record' checkbox and then click on Documentation -> HTML Format

Thanks a lot for your reply! I already had a look in WE30 as well WE60.

There I see the documentation of the I-Doc / Segment but it is not explained where the data are coming from - right?

I am searching for a mapping like:

VBPA-PARVW -> E1EDKA1-PARVW

Would like to know where exactly the data in SAP tables are stored before they are filled in an I-Doc.

Hi Isabella

I've just been through the same exercise, although with a different idoc/tables.

The best advice I have is that if the segment field name is the same as the table field name, then you've found a match.

It's a bit hit and miss, I know, but I couldn't find a neater way.
