In sales document type [VOV8], SD Document Category -I: order without charge.

What is impact on Sales order and what is the role of it in technically

Hi,

Sales document categoryu201D I u201C means Free of Charge. The standard free of charge document type is FD (Deliv.Free of Charge).

Free of charge means there will be no Invoice. You create the sales order and delivery .

You can use this order type to send the sample materials to your customers.

You can also use it for Replacement sales. Suppose your customer returned some materials. He wants a replacement for the returned materials. In those occasion you can use the order type FD.
