Can product herusitic field be updated automatically?

Hi Expert

As we know , the product heuristic field is in product in apo. Can this field be automatically updated by system when we

create the product in apo? Or we need to maintain it manually? Thank you.

There is no feild in ECC which defines product heuristic. If you have constant value of product heuristic for all products or some logic like different material types or groups need to have different product heuristic then you can hard code or define seperate Z master table and data can be picked from this to populate in APO through user exit.

If required you can find some unused feild in ecc or you can define new tab in ecc material master to maintain this feild and same can be populated in APO product master through CIF user exit.

Hi,

You can update it automaticaly while material master transfer form ECC/R3 using CIF user exit CIFMAT01.
