Hi all

I have a question about ECM. Because I don't know the place to post this question, I post it in PLM Forum,

In ECM I see "change without history" and "Change with history", I don't understand them and I need some example to make me clear.

Regards

Hi,

this depends on the object you are changing, but typically it is the BOM.

There, you can see the whole history of the changes with ECM in transaction CS03 Display material BOM, by entering "!" (exclamation mark) in the valid from date!

Regards, Ulf.

When you need the changes to be recorded with history then you need to use Engeneering Change Management, for the changes is not need to be recorded with history you don't need to use Engeneering Change Management.

Hi Rachel Tang

I have a question.

When you need the changes to be recorded with history then you need to use Engeneering Change Management

If I wanna view the recorded changes in ECM, which Tcodes I have to use ?

Best regards

You can check the changes in CC03 with your change number, goto menu:

Environment->Reporting

choose the object you want to check with change documents.

You can also check the changes of the change number itself in CC03, goto menu:

Environment->Change Documents

Then you can undo the changes with the transaction CCUNDO.
