Print smartforms from internet page generated by ITS

Hello,

I have a question about printing in ITS.

In SAP Retail Store, I tried to print a smartforms directly from the web page but it doesn't work (nothing happened because the server cannot find the local printer). I found that if I try to print from the webgui, a bsp service is called and the smartform is called in PDF in a popup.

I'm ok with that even though I would prefer to print directly, without having to preview the PDF form. But my main issue is that I would like to call the print service without having to call the webgui.

Hello Louis-Arnaud,

Please see note 771683 for frontend printing from the ITS. If you'd like to print to a printer without the PDF method than the printer needs to be an available output device in the R/3 system. (Use SPAD to define it.) And it needs to be the default printer for your user with print immediately configured.

Thanks, but I cannot define a network printer, only local printer...
