Material code in SD Quotation

Case 1

I want give quotation to customer enven though my material code is not genrated .

After customer confirms order then i am going to create material code

How to handle this situation

Hi,

You can try this method.

Create a dummy material for this purpose.

When customer ask for a specific material (Which you don't have in the system), create the quotation with that dummy material. Change the description of the material in the quotation line item for what customer is asking.

Enter price manually in the quotation.

Save it and get the printout with the price.

Hi,

Create a dummy material and give your description. Once the customer approves your quotation, you can create the material master and place sales order for that material.

Hi

Create your quotation with just the Description and quantity, this will generate item categpry AGTX (in standard), but it is not relevant for pricing.
