Hi All,

We are facing one issue in assembling the activities.

We have created one activity and trying to assemble that in the CMS , but the result was Assembly failed.

After that we have created one more activity and try to re- import and assembly that activity in the CMS again .We have faced same result u201CAssembly failedu201D.

The reason may be, we are thinking all the errors came up the first time after we have duplicated the Activitiy to transport it again. But we donu2019t know how to delete failed activities in the CMS.

So can anyone please help us out how to resolve this Issue.

Thanks,swarnaprakash

The most likely reason for a assembly failed, is that you have broken DCs in your consolitation tier of your track. . As PAscal said check the logs. you should fond a entry with something like. List on broken DCs not empty...

It seems you have released failed activities to CONS so this makes it even more likely.

Try to get things straight in your DEV tier. And release everything you did to fix this.

If you not sure how to do so please refer to this to understand things better.

Assembly should work afterward.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Thanks for every one who replied.

We are doubting that it may due to some previous failed activities which are in the assembly step.

Do anyone know how to delete or exclude the previous activities from the assembly step,so that newly fixed activity can be

activated which could solve the issue.

Thanks, swarnaprakash

The system always assembles ALL released activities, you can NOT use a subset. So again, have a look at what the logs say before taking any conclusions on your own.
