Original files error

Hi Gurus,

I am getting error while uploading a docuement "An error occured while creating the origi

attribute for DOC". This is happening for all file types. Could you tell a solution.

I have configured MIME type still error comes.

Hi Amresh,

actual problem is the not a single original file is getting opened and check-in also not possible.

Message coming is "Network address DEFAULT of your computer is no

maintained"

I think this is different error than MIME type configuration. I have defined workstattion applications and network.

Pls help.

Dear Ravindra

This is Admin rights related issue. Ask your system admin to log on your system with ADMIN id, & ask him to add the Server IP in "host" file in system32 folder. Save the file & close it.

It should fix your problem.

Hi,

For this error go to DC20 , verify that for Define data carrier type server front end - add data carrier type PC with path preferably C:\TEMP and select the same and for identofy front end computer verify that DEFAULT-PC-DEFAULT- PC with no host name is present.

This will take care of your error.
