Hi,
Now we are trying to use ADS on Internet Explore via WebDynpro.
Our aim to is to be able to use ADS (Development Environment) from Internet Explore(User Side).
Our problem is that we cannot display ADS program that we created on Internet Explore Screen.
(However, we can display demo program such as demo_change_employee on IE)
Steps we followed are,
from T-cd;SE80, we choose our WebDynpro Application program and select TEST(right click).
After that, an IE screen appears but nothing displays in there.
We reckon that this problem caused by our program issue (not network issue etc.),
but still cannot find a right way.
We appreciate any tiny tips.
Hi,
Whether you are trying to execute a Web Dynpro ABAP Application with ADOBE forms Integrated.
please explain what is the exact thing appearing on the IE.

Chandran S

Dear Otto
Thank you for your reply.
My answers are as follows;
1) Yes
2) Yes
3) We use ZCI.
4) We use Adobe Reader version is 9.
And I think ACF is enabled.
5)About red cross.
My co-worker saw once but cannot remember exactly where.
6)About HTML
We don't use a HTML container since we use ABAP.
7)Amount of data
We only have a page with 10 contents (e.g. Company code)
In short, it is not many.

Tomohiko

Hello,
a quick check: (when yes, move to the next number:))
1) you can use the Adobe forms from SFP/ offline or any basic test?
2) you can use the Adobe forms in any demo WD ABAP app?
3) what type of components and form layout type do you use? ACF? ZCI?
4) Reader version on the client PC is XX? Security for ACF is enabled?
Regards Otto
p.s.: can you see a red cross in your screen? do you use a HTML container on WD screen or directly a Interactive form element? how long do you wait (and how many pages and data do you expect to have in your form)?

Thank you for your quick reply.
On IE ,
① the program name appears on the tab,
②text 「Complete」 appears in the bottom left of the screen,
③my mouse pointer is still a hourglass icon,
④and finally the blank screen color is blue.
We appreciate any tiny help.

Hi,
lets do a basic test whether ADS (Adobe Document Services) was configured correctly and also check one common settings in Adobe Reader,
ADS Test:
TCode : SE38
Execute the program FP_PDF_TEST_00. connection value will be automatically filled by the program itself. After executing the program if you are able see a popup window with version information value, then ADS configuration was fine.
Adobe Reader Settings
Open any adobe document in the desktop go to Edit->Preferences->Internet (check whether Display PDF in browser was enabled if not enable).
Regards,
Chandran S
