PLM WebUI - How to get the the URL

Hi All,

We are using ECC 6.0 with EHP4 and activated Enterprise and Business Functions for PLM.

Now when we go to se80, select Package ->/PLMU/UI_MAT->WebDynpro->WebDynpro application ->/PLMU/WDA_MAT_OIF

Right clicked and tested, but the URL didnt work..

Is there any other additional step? Do we need to create any external alias?

http://ABC02SDPL01.XYZ.com:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/plmu/wda_mat_oif

The above is the sample URL which didnt work

Regards,

Aby

Hi Aby,

in EhP 4 you can either work with the Enterprise Portal - there is a business package for the EP that contains the connection information to the SAP PLM system.

Alternatively (since SP 5 of EhP 4) you can work completely portal-free. Note 1380566 should also add some clarity. As a frontend component you then have to use the NWBC.

In addition you can also use the WebUIs of individual objects (DIR, MatMaster,...) stand-alone.

URL has to look like this:

http://server:port/sap/bc/webdynpro/plmu/wda_dir_oif?WDCONFIGURATIONID=%2fPLMU%2fWDC_DIR_OIF_cfg&PLM...;

I hope that helps,

Martin
