Hi,
I am pretty new to Redwood CPS. I am trying to schedule event based jobs from CPS, but still no luck.
As of now the process in SAP was to schedule a Job with the Program name and variant and under start conditions give the SAP event and parameter.
But could you please tell me how we can schedule such Event based jobs in CPS.
Please if you could give me a step by step explanation, from the start to the end, that will be really helpful.
Kind Regards,
Nitin Nayyar
Procedure
1. Choose Definitions > Event Definitions.
2. Choose Refresh to see all existing event definitions.
3. Choose New to create an event definition.
4. Fill in the details, refer to the section below.
5. Choose Save and Close to save the event definition.
Example
1. Choose Definitions > Event Definitions in the Navigation bar.
2. Choose New and fill in these values:
event can then be added to job definition under event tab.
more information can be found on this in admin/intall guides

You should use the CPS administration guide as a starting point to figure out how events in CPS work. (Click on the "I" in the top right corner of the web browser and choose "Administration guide", there is a link on the next screen to create a pdf file admin guide) Search for the "Creating Event-Driven Schedules with Events" section starting on page 226.
Hope this helps!
