Hi experts:
I want to Use The Material Ledger module. SAP recommend the next:
Before starting the production startup, close all manufacturing orders and create new orders after the upgrade.
How can I close a Cost colector used in a Repetitive manufacturing??
I´m searching in the master data of a Cost colector but I can´t find the status for closing the cost colector.. but if I see the display status I only can see the "System status" but any of the possible status which are active is the "Close Status"..
Is necesary to associate a "Status Profile" which contain this option??
Thanks!! and regards!
Manuel
Hi,
Please consider following information from the standard
documentation :
You must set a deletion flag for the product cost collector.
The deletion flag can only be set under the following conditions:
All dependent manufacturing orders (production orders and process
orders) and run schedule headers must have deletion indicators.
The product cost collector must have zero balance.
The work in process of the product cost collector has been canceled.
In repetitive manufacturing, also check whether all run schedule headers
assigned to the product cost collector end in the past.
(You can find the run schedule header in KKF6N with function goto->
display orders/production versions. You will there see the number of
the existing run schedule header. To delete this run schedule header
in case with MF02, or you can use the report from note 527222.)
You can use program SE38 > COPCOBJ_REORGCHECK from the oss note
421710 to see what values are preventing the order from being closed.
140672 - This note has some good information concerning settling/
reversing costs from closed periods.
When you flag a product cost collector for deletion, it receives the
status DLFL (deletion flag).
When you set the deletion indicator for a product cost collector, it
receives the status DLT (deleted).
Also please check in the customizing for order type RM01 the residence
time value.
Reorganizing an object (e.g. order, project) normally requires three
steps:
1. Setting the delete flag (can be reset)
2. Setting the final deletion indicator (cannot be reset)
3. Reorganizing (writing the object to a sequential dataset and
physically deleting it from the system)
Residence time 1 determines the time interval (in calendar months) that
must elapse between setting the delete flag (step 1) and setting the
deletion indicator (step 2).
I hope this helps you.
Regards,
MLM
