Delete Plan data

Dear Experts,

how can we delete plan data from cost center tables?

We would like to change the company code in a few cost centers for the future, but that's not possible, because plan data for 2011 already exists. Primary as well as secondary costs are planned.

Is it possible to delete the plan data? How would that work?

Thanks for your help

Philip

Hi,

You can use KP90/KP91 transactions.

Oh, sorry.

I forget an important detail.

I know these transactions and we can't use them because it's not possible to select cost centers (only cost elements, which would lead to a lost of ALL plan data - we only want to delete plan data of specific cost centers).

That's true, but that's the only standard way: you cannot select cost object while deleting planning data.

How about archiving data?

Is it possible to archive plan data with selection of a few cost centers?

Upload the planning again only with the value 0

I tried to plan 0 values on the cost centers in primary cost planning.

That lead to a 0 in sum but in the background there are some line items.

The same for secondary costs. Reversing the Assessment cycles leads to a 0 sum, but that doubles the line items. So transactions data is still in the system.

As I mentioned, there is no way in standard I understand, that you want to delete the data, not to put it to zero (in this case, the suggestion of Paul is correct), but no standard tool provides this option. Regarding the archiving - never tried to archive planning, but I doubt if it will solve your problem.
