Work order using CO01

Hi All,

One user is trying to create a work order through CO01 but he could not save it due to an error " Profit center is empty. Please input it.".

This is a very informative error but he says he never maintained explicitely while creating the work order anytime. I have checked if there was any profit center maintained in the material masters of those orders which he saved succefully but there was no profit center maintained in th ematerial master.

So where can I check the assignment of profit center in the system other than the material master?

Thanks for the response. Issue was solved - I dont know how- I ht center maintained I have checked the material master Sale/Gen plant view , costing view and plant stock views too...there was no profit center maintained but no other materials have also got no profit center for which the users have created work orders successfully.

Anyways I will inform you when I get to know the solution from the users.
