How Derivation rules works for CO_PA configuration, planning and reporting?

Hi,

how, if possible, to change system behavior regarding derivation, case KEPM in planning scenario:

layout for 2 characteristics::

KNDNR WWxxx...

val1 val2

val1 empty

step x in KEDR: if WWxxx empty MOVE value of KNDNR to WWxxx.

System raises error KG841 - segemnt is inconsistent ..., when Indicator "Check Derivation"is switched on in plan version,

It seems that control is executed before derivation.

Any idea if possible to execute derivation before Check?

Hi,

Derivation is configured in tcode KEDR. Derivation is called in case of actual postings in SD, MM, FI etc or in case of planning (KEPM). Derivation is not called during reporting (KE30) as reporting is supposed to display only posted data.
