Number to Amount

Hi,

The WT in the payroll log has a value in NUM and i would like to have that transferred to AMT. Tried using ADDWT& variable and several combinations, it didn't work.

Example:

WT RTE NUM AMT

XXXX 50.00

The NUM 50.00 should be like this.

WT RTE NUM AMT

XXXX 50.00

Appreciate the inputs.

try this

MULTI NAA

does any PCR has been written

Thanks.

MULTI NAA does this

amt=0

Num=50.00

Product = 0.00

The above logic will not work.

PCR is written and the value 50+0.00=50.00 should be stored in AMT.

ADDNA didn't work.

Any other inputs pls?

Hi,

What Sikindar mentions is right.

Just add AMT=1 before MULTI NAA.

The above logic worked.

Dear Friends,

I am re-opening this this thread as i am still facing issue:-

Example:-

In IT0015, we feed amout and number:-

Amt= Rs.300/-

Num=3 days

RTE NUM AMT

3 300

3 100 DIVID ANA

3 50 AMT-50

3 150 MULTI ANA

Instead of 150 getting transferred to AMT, i need an operation to subtract 300-150=150 and the outcome 150 should get transferred to AMT.

Tried several combinations and could not achieve, appreciate the help.

Hi Friend...

We face this issue many times in our consulting career...MULTI RAN or ARN is not possible in 99 percent of the cases...

So u need to generate a FLAG and pass the value of the RATE into that FLAG.I am assuming the the value is always either zero or more than that ie positive...

Query that FLAG and make everything equal to zero and pass the wage value in the amount field of the wage type..

Dont have a sandbox right now..otherwise coould have shown it...

Let me know if this helps...
