Missing data: Provision account in Sales document

Dear Gurus,

While saving the sales contract, it shows me an error -

<Missing data: Provision account

Message no. VU019

Diagnosis

The system checked the document for completion and found some missing data.

System Response

You cannot continue processing.

Procedure

Enter the missing data.>

I have verified the following

1. Incompletion proceudre for the sales document

2. Incompletion procedure for the item category

3. Incompletion procedure having provision account as an incompletion criterion

4. Any assignment of incompletion procedure as per pt. 3

But I could not find anything.

Can any one help me?

Hi,

Check ur contract pricing procedure in V/08 if account keys are maintained properly. If any of ur condition type is having accrual activated in V/06 and not maintained accrual account key in pricng procedure.

Dear Jagsap,

I have checked the pricing procedure also.

There is accrual key assignemnt for the respective pricing condition.

Even then also this issue persists.

Please check account determination ( T Code VKOA) for the accrual key G/ L Account column and Provision Account column should be filled.

In the pricing procedure the accrual account key should be assigned under the accrual column too.

All of these settings have been properly maintained.

Yet problem persists.

Just chek that any of the condition type has an accrual tick

Dear Krishna,

There is accraul tick in the condition.

For such condition, G/l account and provisional g/l account are maintained in VKOA.

Hi,

Just for a testing purpose remove that Accrual tick mark from the condition type and try creating a new sales cycle.

This is just to ensure if that tick mark only causing the problem or not..
