Hi guys,
I need your help in order to solve a new issue that has arrived.
We have designed the budget planning application in BI-IP, and in each workbook we placed buttons that execute planning sequences and save data.
The problem now is that some users found the standard functionality to save data (right mouse button followed by save data). The use of this functionality implies that planning sequences are not executed.
Do you know if there is a way to inhibit the standard way of saving data??? We only want the client to save data using the buttons created.
I hope you can help us.
Best regards
Dear João,
SAP allows system globally to deactivate save, reset or check from the context menu in a planning workbook. This is especially for scenarios as you describe where some additional logic should be executed before planning. To deactivate the context menu entry you have to use transaction RS_FRONTEND_INIT and add one or more of the following values with value X:
- ANA_CTXMNU_NO_SAVE: to hide Save Values
- ANA_CTXMNU_NO_TRANS: to hide Transfer Values
- ANA_CTXMNU_NO_RESET: to hide Reset Values and Reset Excel Values
Best regards
Matthias

Hi.
I don't know about workbook, but I can explain how I resolved the similar issue in WAD.
I added webitem CONTEXT_MENU_ITEM and disabled needed options.
May be in workbook there is similar items (like context menu) and you will be able to disable save functionality such way ...
Regards.
