PDCE Installation - 'Field FINB_ORIGIN is unknown

Hi,

As per this document on PDCE Installation guide,

While doing the step 8. "Choose the next IMG activity, Structures 􀁯 Maintain Costing Structures for Data Basis in

order to make use of any objects that were inserted. Initially you need to execute the

transaction once",

'Field FINB_ORIGIN is unknown' error message is getting displayed.

Please let me know on how to resolve this error asap.

Sorry, but this is not the forum for helping with this. This is SEM (Strategic Enterprise Management) BCS (Business Consolidation System).

I suggest you find another forum related to this topic.

It seems the databasis generation is not successful.

I would suggest you go to "UA_IMG", and select the IMG activity Data Basis->Maintain DataBasis and Register Characteristics and run the program once more. Please use mode "Save" first and then "Activate".

I think it is "SAP Product Design Cost Estimate" which is not at all related to SEM.

Product Design Cost Estimate(PDCE) is a product under software component SEM-BW. Its application component is FIN-BA.
