RMA Process

Has anyone come up with an RMA Process that does not have an impact on Stock Valuations and Cost of Sales?

We, on occcasions as part of Maintenance Contracts sold to customers, have to replace a faulty part which ultimately goes back to the Supplier to be replaced under warranty. None of these transactions should have any impact on the Cost of Sales,

If I use the Customer Returns, Delivery functionality in SAP, the system automatically generates costs based on my existing stock levels for which I have no control over. At the end of the day, most of my RMA transactions have zero value for all transactions - all I am looking to do is track the stock item and Serial Number (where appropriate) movement.

Any thoughts would be appreciated
